Pharmaland Technologies’ PCF series Automatic Capsule Filling Machines are equipped with the latest encapsulation technology, with an optimized design for operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. During the filling process of the intermittent capsule filling machine, the movement of the capsule relies on the indexing box to do intermittent and discontinuous rotation.
The filling volume of the capsule is mainly determined by the volume of the metering disc hole.
The capsules in the holes are sent to each working station along with the intermittent rotation of the turntable. At the first station the vacuum system will separate the capsules’ cap and body.
After starting up the machine, the capsules in hopper will be fed into magazine vertically. With each movement of the machine, the gate of magazine will release one row of capsules into rectification channels. The horizontal forks rectify the direction of capsules and vertical forks push the capsules into hole of segment with all caps on the up position.
At the second station the lower segment with capsule body extending out ready for the filling. Then the filling rod will push the pressed powder slug into capsule body
Occasionally, some empty capsules may not separate, in which case, the machine will eject these capsules before capsule closure.
The caps and body of the capsules are pushed back together.
The closed capsules will be moved to the discharge position; then the rod pushes them out of the hole. Compressed air then blows the capsules to discharge port.
At the last station the holes of segments are cleaned by vacuum cleaner and compressed air. Then the segments are ready for next cycle of operation.
